back to school

with summer over comes the beginning of yet another school year.

while it is always sad to see them off, i think everyone was kind of ready 

to get back into the swing of things. seeing old friends and making new ones; 

ruby entering 2nd and declan starting kindergarten...we are off to a good start. 

we shall see what this year brings!

soccer.

so declan started his first sport (besides swimming) and he is pretty darn delicious out there. with four goals in his last game we are pretty proud of this guy! go dec...eat em up sharks!

the big three.

 so this guy turned three, believe it or not nov. 20th. he is at a super funny cute stage right now where i would love to freeze things for a bit and make it last just a bit longer. 

we had a nice party for him; the kids and i decorated party hats, made green frosted cake with m & m's, and were also able to have a fun day at the movies on his actual birthday courtesy of aunt Patty. it was a pretty awesome third i'd say for our sword fighting, avengers loving, strong guy. happy birthday Declan!! We love you so!
