dallas.

many thanks to my little brother alex for graduating from ud...i was able to head back and visit my old stomping grounds (ahem 12 years later) with my family. kind of a surreal experience to be honest, wandering around and seeing all the old spots i used to hang, overcome by what i considered at the time to be major worries over life/school/papers to write/books to read/and what stellar party to attend. 

mix all that with a great reason to take a vacation, visit old friends, and just enjoy being with my family by the pool, sans laundry and chores; i was feeling pretty blessed in many ways, surrounded by amazing people. 

so needless to say, we had a wonderful time, despite that sticky humidity i do not miss:) dallas is a really wonderful city; hopefully it will not be another 12 years before i make it back!
